I needed an Impact drill for a project that needed to get done. I am a Milwaukee cordless tool fan so naturally I wanted to get a Milwaukee Impact Drill. I was pressed for time and the nearest home depot to where I live was an hour away. I had to go to Walmart and purchased the Hart Impact Drill set that came with a battery and battery charger.
I was pleasantly surprised by this Hart Impact Drill. The Hart Impact Drill significantly less expensive than the Milwaukee Impact Drill. The drill had enough power for me to make a sheep shed and a large rabbit hutch with no problems. The battery that came with the set is a small and I did have to charge it after drilling consistently for over an hour.
The Hart Impact Drill that I bought wasn't brushless. I did not realize there was a brushless impact drill until I went back to Walmart. The cost of the Hart brushless impact drill was slightly higher than the non-brushless.
I know everyone (including me) thinks Walmart carries cheap inferior brands from China. In some cases it is true, but the Hart products is a good and less expensive alternative to professional tools like Milwaukee and Dewalt. I later found out that Hart was manufactured by the same company as Milwaukee tools.
Would I completely give up Milwaukee cordless power tools to go to Hart products, NO. I have a significant investment in Milwaukee batteries. Would I buy more Hart cordless power tools, YES.
